What We Do...
The Lincolnshire Loom is your local carpet edging business. Carpet Whipping is the term used to describe the overlocked edge given to a piece of carpet to transform it into a rug. We are able to provide a whipping service for motorhome, caravan, boat mats and general rugs. Please note all carpet must be brought cut to size. Carpet whipping is £6+VAT per linear metre.
Please note there is a minimum charge of £25 +VAT.
We supply a range of high quality carpets which can be made into a large area rug created to your exact specifications. Please see Bespoke Stair Runners & Rugs for further details.

Wool yarns used to edge the carpet can be a colour to match the carpet or a contrasting wool yarn can look particularly eye-catching.
Tape Edging
The Lincolnshire Loom offer tape edging to create individual stair runners. Our tapes come in a wide variety of colours and materials, meaning an eye catching piece can be created for your stairs that is unique to you. Combining different carpets and tapes can create stair runners that range from calm and classical to bold and dramatic. Please browse a selection of our tape ranges here

What Is Carpet Whipping?
Carpet whipping is the term used to describe the over-locked edge which is applied to a piece of carpet to prevent it from from fraying and create a neat finished look . It is also called carpet binding or rug binding.
